From the iconic Panek Vineyard in St. Helena, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (Clones 7 & 191) is masterfully crafted by acclaimed winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown. Nestled on loamy soil streaked with gravelly river rock, the vineyard’s prime blocks yield fruit of extraordinary intensity and character. Aged 20 months in 80% new French oak, the wine exudes layered richness and refined power that exemplifies the hallmark characteristics of this special site. Dark, concentrated, and undeniably expressive, this is a singular Napa Cabernet where site, skill, and vision converge to create a truly unforgettable experience.

Thomas Rivers Brown
Winemaker, Panek Vineyards
One of the most sensational talents in winemaking today, Thomas Rivers Brown was born in South Carolina but developed an interest in wine while attending the University of Virginia. Following his passions to the Napa Valley, Thomas began a career at Turley Cellars.
Under Thomas’ expert guidance, Panek fruit is harvested late in the season – by hand, at dawn – to preserve the full intensity and distinctive character. The grapes are processed with as little manipulation as possible. Grapes from each block within the vineyard are fermented separately so that our winemaking team can be very selective about the lots that comprise the final blend. Wines are neither fined nor filtered allowing for the full expression of the vintages’ potential.
