As Winemaker at Baldacci Family Vineyards, second-generation vintner Michael Baldacci continues the family legacy of crafting premium, single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon wines. With over a decade of experience in the industry, Michael has held diverse roles at the winery—from sales to operations—giving him a deep understanding of both the business and the craft. His commitment to innovation and excellence in both the vineyard and the cellar has earned Baldacci Family Vineyards widespread acclaim, including multiple 95+ point scores from Decanter, Robert Parker Wine Advocate, Jeb Dunnuck, and others.
Michael’s leadership has also garnered industry recognition beyond the bottle. In 2025, he was named a North Bay Business Journal Forty Under 40 honoree, celebrating his achievements and influence as a next-generation wine industry leader. His winemaking philosophy has been featured in Forbes, Robb Report, and other national publications, reinforcing his role as a voice for quality, sustainability, and family-driven winemaking in Napa Valley.
Michael holds a B.A. in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University and studied viticulture and enology at U.C. Davis and Napa Valley College. He continues to expand his expertise through UC Davis Extension courses and stays connected to the wine community through ongoing leadership and volunteer involvement.
